SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – San Francisco Giants fifth starter Todd Wellemeyer has been placed on the disabled list with a strained right quadriceps muscle. He was injured during Thursday’s game against the Cincinnati Reds when he hit into a double play with the bases loaded in the top of the third inning.
